What is balayage?
Balayage is a hand-painted colour technique. Lighter tones are swept onto the hair for a soft, sun-kissed result with a natural regrowth line, so it grows out gently and needs less upkeep than traditional highlights.
It suits anyone who wants dimension without stripy regrowth, and works on many base colours, subject to a consultation about your colour history.

Balayage is priced from £70 because hair length, thickness and the look you want change the time and product needed. Send a photo on WhatsApp and the price is agreed before you book, with travel included.
How a balayage appointment at home works
1. Message on WhatsApp
Send your postcode, a photo of your hair and a few photos of balayage looks you like.
2. Patch test
New clients, or anyone over 6 months since their last colour with me, need a patch test at least 48 hours before.
3. Hand-painted at home
I bring everything needed and paint your balayage in your own space, with breaks whenever you need.
4. Finish and advice
Your hair is finished and styled, with advice on keeping the tone fresh between visits.
Balayage or highlights?
Balayage is painted freehand for a softer, blended look and gentler regrowth. Highlights are placed in even sections from the root for a brighter, more defined result.
Looking after your balayage
Because balayage grows out softly, many clients go longer between appointments than with highlights.
