How a highlights appointment at home works
1. Message on WhatsApp
Send your postcode, a photo of your hair and a photo of the look you like.
2. Patch test
New clients, or anyone over 6 months since their last colour with me, need a patch test at least 48 hours before.
3. Colour at your home
I bring everything needed, protect the area and apply your highlights in your own space.
4. Finish and advice
Your hair is finished and styled, with advice on keeping the tone fresh.
Highlights or balayage?
Highlights are placed in fine, even sections from the root for a brighter, more defined look. Balayage is hand-painted for a softer, natural regrowth line and lower upkeep.

How often you refresh depends on how blended your highlights are and how quickly your hair grows.

What is the difference between full head and half head highlights?
Full head highlights are placed all over for an overall brighter look. Half head highlights cover the top and sides for a lighter, quicker refresh.
Do I need a patch test before highlights?
Yes, if you’re a new client or it’s been more than 6 months since your last colour with me. It needs doing at least 48 hours before.
Can you highlight bleached or previously coloured hair?
Usually yes, but I check your colour and chemical history first, as heavily processed hair may need a different approach.
